AAUGH!
Charlie Brown… What can you say, really? Poor kid sat in that pumpkin patch even after the rain started and turned the place to a bog. Now he’s just a soggy corpse.
“Aaugh!”
My apologies to the estate of Charles Schulz—I really don’t know what came over me. This is my response to this weekend’s Trifextra Challenge (care of the folks over at the Trifecta Writing Challenge).
Please, if you’re just visiting for the first time, go over and read Akhun… I promise I sometimes write good stuff, really I do :-p
Ha! Nicely done Brian. Love the title! 🙂
Ha, thanks Suzanne 🙂
Better a soggy corpse than a decapitated one!
That’s what I always say!
Aw, poor guy! Sounds like he was depressed. Fun take on the prompt.
Poor Linus 😦
What is it with Peanuts references this weekend? 🙂 Never have quite resolved the issue of whether Charlie Brown is to be commended for holding so steadfastly to a cherished idea or if he is to be chastized for being too stubborn to admit the error of his thinking and move on. Thanks for helping me to spend some of my Saturday night thinking deep thoughts about a bald kid on a pumpkin. Btw, Akhun was well-deserving of the accolades it received last week. Congratulations on a job very well done. 🙂
Thanks – I really appreciate that!
Good grief!
