On this page you’ll find the best of my writing, as judged by various contests on the interweb.  It may be tooting of the self-horn variety, sure, but why should I force you to slog through my more mediocre offerings when the hard vetting work has already been done for you?

The Trifecta Writing Challenge

Now defunct, having wrapped up the final contest in March, 2014, the Trifecta Writing Challenge brought upwards of 80 writers together each week with a one-word prompt and a 333-word limit.

The Speakeasy at Yeah Write

This hip joins draws about 30 writers each week and maxes out at 40. The rules: Take the weekly prompt sentence and use it in your story, either as the first line, the last line or any line, as the editors dictate, and use the multimedia prompt as general inspiration.
