The Trifecta Writing Challenge
Now defunct, having wrapped up the final contest in March, 2014, the Trifecta Writing Challenge brought upwards of 80 writers together each week with a one-word prompt and a 333-word limit.

This hip joins draws about 30 writers each week and maxes out at 40. The rules: Take the weekly prompt sentence and use it in your story, either as the first line, the last line or any line, as the editors dictate, and use the multimedia prompt as general inspiration.
