Pinionpost Turns 1
Grab the confetti, slice the cake and call up the petting zoo: pinionpost is one year old today.
It’s amazing how quickly the time has gone and how much has changed—a new city, a new job—but I’m still going and don’t plan on stopping just yet.
So what does one year look like?
The number of countries represented by my visitors
The number of posts I’ve posted
The number of people brave enough (or foolish enough) to actually subscribe to these posts
The number of views pinionpost has had in the last year
Oh, and then of course there’s A Billion, or the number of times the phrase “turtle sex” has brought someone to pinionpost via Google (that’s just an estimate though).
In the past year I’ve also been introduced to more writing prompts than I never knew existed, including Friday Fictioneers, Five Sentence Fiction and the Trifecta Writing Challenge (and I’ve found great, helpful writers working on all of them).
So here’s to another year, and a big thank you to everyone who’s read, followed, commented and put up with my shenanigans for the last 365 days!
