Who Am I?

?

Without name, I am often spoken.

The least of the gods, yet the most feared; not Death, but His brother; undone with a whisper, yet the ruin of many lives.

Who am I?

This riddle is my response to this weekend’s Trifextra Challenge. Do you know the answer? 🙂

  1. Love it! Think I’ve got it. Very cool. Put it this way, I won’t say a word, and let the other Trifectans shout it out. Thanks for linking up and don’t forget to come back and vote!

  2. I have to ponder on this one.

  3. By not saying anything, I’ll give you my answer haha Great work!

  4. Hmm… Death’s brother… Eternal sleep? I’d say coma. Not really good with riddles *sigh*

  5. I choose to be on mute mode too… Lol. Good one Brian!

  6. Fabulous! I have a guess, but don’t want to say! Can’t wait to find out if I’m right. 🙂

  7. This is brilliant 🙂

  8. I’d love to shout the answer from the rooftops but, that would be just plain wrong, wouldn’t it? 🙂

  9. Haha! Got it, but I will wait till you reveal it. 🙂 Brilliant!

  10. This is clever and fun! A great take on the prompt.

  11. In the Sandman universe, the brother of sleep is Dream. I don’t think that’s what you’re going for, however. I’ll keep thinking about it. Very clever!

  12. The Brother of Death? Hypnos?

  13. Lies? Loneliness? My first thought was the little death, but that doesn’t fit the description :p Hmm…..

  14. I love this concept but cannot decide the true identity. Very clever!

  15. oh this was clever… probably too clever for me.. but I have an idea from Havamal… hmmm

  16. Mum’s the word!
    A Vonnegut kind of god!

  17. Whoever it is-am not going to war with it-let sleeping Gods sleep;-)Excellent piece!
