Well, that was different, wasn’t it? This is my submission for this weekend’s Trifextra challenge (via the Trifecta Writing Challenge). This time the challenge was to use onomatopoeia in a piece—a challenge which I obviously took to a (possibly detrimental) extreme. Head on over to check out the other entries over the weekend.

(I’m also the latest Featured Trifectan, so you could check that out too, if you feel like it :-D)

Happy weekend!

  6. Different, but so well-put 😉

  7. Wow, I just read through an entire life in onomatopoeia in about a minute. Thank goodness the real thing lasts longer 🙂 I like the creativity of this one!

  8. It’s a Trifectan Masterpiece! 😀

  10. A whole lifetime in 33 sounds – fantastic.

  11. Wow, Brian! Fantastic use of onomatopoeia! Amazing how much you got into your 33 words. Well done sir!

  12. I think you need some more waah’s. In fact, all of life is just one big waah sometimes. This is unique and fun.

    Thanks for linking up!

  13. This is fantastic. I think I liked ‘adolescence’ the best out of your descriptions, though ‘shhh’ at the end was nice too. Lovely!! Congrats on being a featured Trifectan!!

  14. An onomatopoeic life in 33 words. Totally rocks!

  15. Ha! Ha! Funny! 🙂

  16. That was fun. Singer/songwriter John Prine did a song about that :
