My Advice

The universe erupts and expands.
Fourteen billion years pass.
You live and die.
And after eons more
the universe chills to a thermodynamic nothing.
My advice?
Get warm,
make some music
and eat.

This advice comes to you care of the Trifecta Writing Challenge weekend Trifextra. Maybe it’s not the most original advice, but I still think it’s the most important.

Have a great weekend everyone, and follow my advice!

  13. Excellent advice Brian! Great take on the prompt. And congrats on your well-deserved win!

  14. You wouldn’t want to hear my music… unless it was a metaphor. In that case, my music is in color and you may still not like it. But it is my music and I love it! But wait, isn’t there something else we all need to be doing as well? I’m waiting. πŸ˜‰

  15. Like the placement of “you” between fourteen billion years and thermodynamic nothing. Keeps it real.

  16. I feel warmer! Congrats on last week’s win.

  17. pass the cookies, please. πŸ™‚
